Home and Community Based Services
First Children Services is an approved provider by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families to provide Intensive In-Home (IIH) Services. We provide Intensive In-Home -Clinical, Intensive In-Home-Behavioral, and Individual Support Services (ISS) services throughout New Jersey. Our Behavioral Health Treatment Services (BHTS) division provides effective behavioral treatment and support services to children with developmental disabilities and their families. Our services are accessible, accountable, and efficient.

First Children Staff is thoroughly screened, trained, certified and as required, licensed. Excellence in communication with families and caregivers, physicians, referral sources, and payers is a hallmark of our services. Real time data collection and monitoring of progress by experienced supervisors assures that our clients’ needs are paramount and outcomes are achieved. Families and caregivers are seen as intrinsic members of the treatment team and their satisfaction and approval are #1.
Remaining focused on client outcomes means that First Children’s services produce meaningful results in less time and less cost than other providers. We use state of the art technology for scheduling, monitoring progress and we are in a position to respond quickly and effectively to changes in client situations, including crises. First Children Services is an approved provider by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families and the New Jersey Department of Education. We are also in-network with most major NJ health insurance plans for applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. As such, we are in a position to direct these resources toward effective outcomes for clients.
First Children Services also provides Intensive In-Community (IIC) services throughout the state and we operate a DCF approved summer camp, Camp Discovery, for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
